The Aiken Bicycle Club has several opportunities to make the world a better place by helping out in the community.
Whiskey Road Race The Aiken Bicycle Club helped out at the Whiskey Road 10K Road Race. Several club members lead the runners around the 6.2 mile course while others trailed along behind to keep from losing any of the runners.
MS 150 Breakaway to the Beach For the past several years numerous members of the ABC have participated in the MS150 Breakaway to the Beach, a fund-raising event benefiting the Mid-Atlantic chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Williamsburg Street Adopt a Highway Trash Pickup Once every three months as a part of the Adopt a Highway Program, members of the ABC pickup trash on Williamsburg Street between South Boundary and Richland Avenue. We also get together for breakfast and conversation before we go start to work.
Run for the Woods Many ABC members served as volunteers for the 5 mile run through Hitchcock Woods
