The meeting was mainly focused on preparations for the Century.  Here are my notes on what was discussed and decisions made.

T-shirts – discussed buying more then last years 175 since we ran out.  We decided to wait and see how early registrations went.  So far there are 12 pre-registered.

Sponsors –so far we have $1250 (see table below).  Two sponsors from last year have yet to be contacted, so that number may go up.  Curt will check with Bike Law guy to see if he will provide water bottles for rides packets.

Food for rest stops - Since Mo is on the disabled list for now, Chuck Foster has agreed to buy the rest stop food.  Mo will put together a list of what to buy.  Mo has this well organized with containers for each rest stop, so Chuck will receive good directions!

Dignitary to send rides off – I sent Roland Smith (st. Rep.) an e-mail asking him to say a few words to send the cyclist off and we are waiting to hear from him.  I he does not respond by the end of the week Karen Bures will contact Jim Stuart (St. Rep.) to see if he is willing.

After ride meals – I looked back at report and it said we spent $755 on 180 meals.  That comes out to $4.20 per meal.  Karen checked with a friend that will do a wrap, pasta salad and cookie/fruit for $6.  The only difference between last year’s meals and this offer is last year we had a small bag of chips instead of cookies/fruit.

Lori Comshaw is going to check with the High School or some school about meals and Curt gave me a person to check with.  So we need to see want other options there are and then we can decide.

Mailing - I will mail out 104 flyers to last year participants with out e-mail and bike shops across the state.  Labels are already printed.

Registered rides on website – Kirk Davis has posted the ride on all websites that were available in our area.

Bicycle Polo exhibition – Bill Matheson want to put on a bicycle polo exhibition in conjunction with this years century.  We are working on the details.

Port- O –Let- Jim Blount will handle this.

Radio Club is on board – Thanks to Mo.

Volunteers – We are still short a few.  Here is who I have: Curt, Carleen, Tom and Nancy Lex, Tom DeMange, Karen Bures, Kirk Davis, Chuck, Jim, Lori, Don and me.  Please forgive me if I left anyone off and please let me know if I did!

The food was great at Maria’s as usual.
